Moment 4 Life - Nicki Minaj ft Drake

The song "Moment 4 Life" by Nicki Minaj is my FAVORITE song, I swear to you this song will either be my sweet 16 entrance song or my wedding song! I love this song for several reasons - Nicki's music just gets me up and rapping with her! I care enough to google her lyrics and rap with her.  When I hear this song, I hear her giving me advice on how to deal with success and happiness. She named it Moment 4 Life to express that although she wishes to have success and happiness for life, she cant always have it - so she should cherish it now. Alot of people didnt realize the message in this song . . BUT I DID! Im a true Nicki Minaj fan, but I wont go extreme and wear her weaves or clothes lols - Nicki also poses to me as a positive black women- I hate when ppl hate on her, shes the only female rapper out there doing her thing and shes from southside jamaica queens!!! ; yuuup yuuuup! ( my neighborhood)

All The Way Turnt Up - Roscoe Dash ft Soulja Boy

I may have taken a risk with this song . . . BUT, im reckless ;) - I chose this song to write about because I know Soulja Boy and Roscoe Dash arent the spokesperson for "REAL MUSIC". I believe that ALL music is REAL music, cause then what will we listen to. Music is a way to express yourself - You cant tell a person how they are feeling? SO dont judge these two artists! This song to me is being in the club with your friends and having fun! If they didnt make real music they wouldnt be as successful as they are now . . they must be doing something right! Just let these two rock and let them get ALL THE WAY TURNT UP ! ;)

Pray - Justin Bieber

This song, "Pray" by Justin Beiber brings tears to my eyes,literally! I have an emotional connection because several images in the video are from my hometown of Haiti. If you know me, I LOVE LOVE LOVE my country and everything about it. To know that people suffered so drastically brings pain in my heart. This song displays how people arent always lucky. My cousins,aunts,and uncles were stuck in the earthquake. People LOVE to hate on Justin Bieber and his music, but honestly I think he deserves his "props" for this song.  When I hear this song it gives me a better understanding of how I should deal with things.  You may not think prayer helps but when its the only thing you can do its EVERYTHING! Theres SEVERAL messages Justin Bieber is displaying, ignorant people just need to open their eyes and see that not everyone are like them and worry about what Justin Bieber is doing with his career rather than trying to figure out what they will have for breakfast tomorrow, because thats the only meal they will get.

Somebody Come Get Me - Melanie Fiona

This song expresses how alot of girls feel about their partners. Alot of girls are considered crazy because they really want to hurt their partners. When your in sincere and true love with a person and they hurt you . .. You dont know how to react. This song may be a tad bit extreme but atleast once a girl have felt and thought about being drastic about the situation. BUT - every girl has someone better out there for them. Theres always somebody ELSE that will love everything about you and will cherish every minute they have with you . . . just be patient :)

Why Dont You Love Me - Beyonce

The video "Why Dont You  Love Me" by Beyonce gives a clear depiction on how women feel when men dont want to commit. Alot of men are being understood by women. Girls think that just because boys make them feel "special" they want to commit and settle down with them. This song explains how ALOT of young girls feel. The problem isnt the girl its the boy who doesnt realize that; that girl is worth something!  His lost, I guess. Nope I know. Thanks Beyonce :) !

YUUUUUP! Rev Run's son - Daniel "Diggy"Simmon has been making music and Ive enjoyed every minute of it! His songs relate to me because for one he is my AGE! Yes finally someone who was born in my year of 95! lols - This song explains how someone feels about a girl only being fifteen years old. When we listen to all the songs older people make we may relate to some of the aspects of the song . . But this song explains how I can relate to ALL of the topic. I love the fact that hes writing music that isnt too much for our age or too little . . . its just right :)

Ne-Yo -Empty Frames

The song "Empty Frames" is a demo Ne-Yo wrote for a Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson, or Mary J. Blige. - I think the fact that Ne-Yo could put himself into a another SEXES position is an awesome addition to his many talents. He's extremely understanding in his words. An artist that could write music about what another person is feeling is an AWESOME artist.

Ne-Yo _Better Today

This song "Better Today" by Ne-Yo is so awesome ... People mostly think Ne-Yo sings about love and relationships, but people fail to realize some of his songs talk mostly about uplifting yourself from having a bad day. I love this song for several reasons just for the simple fact that hes just talking to his listeners. I know hes singing BUT c'mon you could literally read the lyrics to someone and it wouldnt sound cheesy. It would seem as if it was a conversation or monologue. Ne-Yo has a way in writing his lyrics as if they didnt only belong in songs but in REAL life . . . Listen UP! :)

Ever since I've picked up "In My Own Words" ive fell in love with Ne-Yo. I love to listen to all types of music. I feel like Ne-Yo is an outlet to what Im feeling. When I listen to Ne-Yo's songs its like hes speaking to me. I love when artists make me feel  this way. I feel the connection from his words to my soul. . . Deep right? I know, It sounds crazy but Ne-Yo to me is a lyrical genuis. This isnt only a blog about how much I love him . . . Its a blog about how Ne-Yo's words have messages in them you wouldnt realize.
